We are glad to announce the Third Congress of the Asia-Pacific Hernia Society in Singapore, a yearly appointment for the experts and followers of hernia that is becoming a landmark appointment in the Region. It is a get-together with friends, colleagues and international experts to share experience and controversies on the hernia subject.

The scientific programme will highlight on the abdominal wall anatomy, classification and physiopathology as well as etio-pathogenesis and state-of-the-art treatment for hernia repair. Experts will present and discuss their clinical experience on open and minimally invasive procedures and from tissue repair to the use of new biomaterials.

A Forum video will give all participants a glimpse of tips and tricks of the different repair for the hernia defects. And for all of you that would like to share your work with all the participants, this is a great opportunity to submit an abstract. All abstract will be selected by an International Scientific Committee for Oral, Video or Poster presentations and the best scientific contribution of each categories will be awarded a Society prize.
